In November 2022 we began the writing of a new Sefer Torah (Torah Scroll) for Temple Emanu-El. Of the 613 commandments in the Torah, everyone in our community has had the opportunity to fulfill the last of those commandments over the past 14 months, the writing of a Torah with our Soferet.

Temple Emanu-El’s Torah Project is nearing completion. We are excited for the entire community to come together on Sunday, March 10 to celebrate the dedication of our new Torah. Support the project now.
